Sarah Bloemer

President

Sarah Bloemer is senior majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance with a certificate in Leadership. Before this position she served as VP of Communications. She was an actuarial intern with Sentry Insurance in the Summer of 2023 and at Milliman's Milwaukee practice in the Summer of 2024. She has passed exams FM, P and FAM with plans to sit for SRM this coming fall semester! In her free time, she enjoys dancing with her dance organization, Optima Dance, as well as attending Badger sporting events.

Ethan Farr

Vice President of Social Media and Marketing

Ethan is a junior majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance. Prior to serving as Vice President of Marketing and Social Media, he was on the volunteering committee. He is currently doing a Commercial Lines Underwriting Internship with SECURA. Ethan has passed exam FM and plans to sit for exam P in the July. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing sports, going for walks, and riding roller coasters.

Aidan Bandte

Vice President of Member Relations and Engagement

Aidan is a junior majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance. After spending two years on the Member Relations and Engagement committee, he is proud to take on the role of Vice President. This past summer, Aidan interned at Principal Financial Group on the Individual Life Valuation team. He has passed Exams FM, P, and hopes to receive credit for FAM in the fall semester. In his free time, Aidan enjoys lifting, playing on intramural teams, fishing, and following the NBA.

Anthony Krebsbach

Vice President of Communication

Anthony is a sophomore majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance. Prior to serving as Vice President of Communications, he was on the communications committee where he assisted with the weekly newsletter and website maintenance. This past summer, he took part in a program developed by the Casualty Actuarial Society geared towards providing aspiring actuaries with practical knowledge and skills. Anthony has passed exam FM, and plans to sit for exam P in the fall. In his free time, he enjoys going for long walks, playing retro video games, and disc golfing.

Alex C. Zylka

Vice President of Finance

AC is a Sophomore majoring in Actuarial Science, RMI, Finance, and Data Science. He Interned at Northwestern Mutual as a financial representative in the summer 2024 and before being the VP of Finance he was a member of the volunteering committee for the Actuarial Club. In addition to his work experience, he passed Exams FM and P and is currently preparing for FAM. In his free time AC enjoys playing cards, going disc golfing, and hanging out with friends.

Jodie Lam

Vice President of Educational Enrichment

Jodie is a senior majoring in Actuarial Science with a consulting certificate. She was part of the Educational Enrichment committee before being elected as the VP of Educational Enrichment. She has passed Exam FM & is planning to take Exam P this summer. Her ambition and drive are further exemplified by her upcoming internship with QBE Insurance in Sun Prairie, where she will gain valuable hands-on experience in the industry. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, she has a passion for cooking, baking & spending quality time with people and pets she cherishes.

Stephanie Hayd

Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Stephanie is a sophomore majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance with a certificate in Consulting. Prior to this position, she served on the DEI committee and helped organize several club events. Stephanie passed Exam FM in the spring and plans to sit for Exam P this winter. This past summer, Stephanie interned at UnitedHealth Group as an Actuarial Analyst. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, watching Survivor, and listening to her Daylist on Spotify. A fun fact about Stephanie is that she is learning Spanish through Duolingo
