Stephanie Hayd
President
Stephanie is a senior studying Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance with a certificate in Consulting. Over the past three summers, she's interned at UnitedHealth Group (Optum), Allianz Life, and most recently The Cigna Group. She has passed Exams FM, P, and FAM and is planning to take ASTAM and SRM this school year. Outside of her academics, you can usually find Stephanie logging movies on Letterboxd, keeping up her streak on Duolingo, or enjoying her daily Bubbl'r. She's excited to serve as President this year and give back to the club that has played such a big role in shaping both her college experience and where she is today.
Allie Downes
Vice President of Social Media and Marketing
Allie Downes is a sophomore majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance with a certificate in Data Science. Before becoming VP she was on the Community and Belonging committee. She currently has passed exam FM and P, and plans on sitting for MAS-1 in spring. She enjoys yoga, hanging out with friends, listening for music, and going for walks.
Avery Tipps
Vice President of Member Relations and Engagement
Avery is a junior studying Actuarial Science and considering Risk Management and Insurance. He has passed Exams FM and P, and is hoping to pass FAM this Fall semester! Outside of school, he loves playing music and chasing scenic views outdoors. After being a member of the Engagement Committee for his freshman and sophomore years, Avery is more than excited to take the role of VP of Member Relations and Engagement and is looking forward to getting to know all of our members!
Amelia Senart
Vice President of Communication
Amelia is a sophomore studying Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance. She is currently studying for exams FM and P. She likes to spend her spare time trying new coffee shops, watching rom coms with her roomates, and creating Spotify playlists. One of her life goals is to have the number of countries she's visited match her age! (19 and still counting)
Misa Harris
Vice President of Finance
Misa is a sophomore majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance. Before her VP position, she served as part of the volunteer committee. She has passed Exam FM and is currently studying for Exam P. In her free time, she enjoys working out, playing video games, and axe throwing. A fun fact about Misa is that this past summer she performed in the Sydney Opera House with her orchestra!
Jacob Lubin
Vice President of Educational Enrichment
Jacob is a junior majoring in Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance. Before becoming VP, he served as a member of the educational enrichment committee. Over the past two summers, he was an actuarial intern at TruStage, and then most recently Travelers. He has passed exam P, FM, MAS-I, and plans to sit for MAS-II this spring. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, attending badger sports events, and trying new restaurants around Madison.
Lucas Nguyen
Vice President of Community and Belonging
Lucas is a sophomore studying Actuarial Science and Risk Management & Insurance, while also getting a certificate in Data Science. He has currently passed exam FM, and is studying for P. Some of his favorite hobbies include hiking, traveling, and watching sports.
